On Monday, Rossendale CFRs got to grips with working from height, and a simulated Road Traffic Collision (RTC) after co-hosting a training night with Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service at Rawtenstall Fire Station.
Teams were divided into different crews and a Bronze command was established to aide communication between the ground and higher management. It was a long evening but we learnt a lot, especially how we’d work with the Fire Service in such conditions. All CFRs did really well and there was a debrief towards the end of the evening so we could reflect on our performance, not only as individuals, but as a team.
