No Fear CPR & AED Sessions at Ramsbottom Theatre Royale
On July 22nd and 23rd, the Rossendale Community First Responders brought their life‑saving skills to the Summerseat Players at the Ramsbottom Theatre Royale – and what an energising couple of days it was!
In a warm but focused atmosphere, our No Fear sessions showed how easy and vital it is to step in during an emergency.
On Tuesday 22nd, daytime sessions were led by Dawn, Kelvin & Kath, guiding attendees through hands‑on CPR techniques and the use of an AED.
On Wednesday 23rd, the evening crew of Dawn, David & Stuart kept the momentum going, answering questions and giving everyone the chance to put their learning into action.
Participants practised chest compressions on the faithful Annie dolls and tried out training defibs—all with plenty of laughter, curiosity, and genuine “aha!” moments. Meanwhile, just upstairs, the cast of the upcoming Trainspotting play were in their final rehearsals, adding a unique buzz to the building.

The photo you see here was taken during the lively evening event, full of interaction, great questions, and a real sense of community spirit.
Thank you to everyone who joined in—together we’re making Rossendale safer, one heartbeat at a time!
