Summer 2026: No Fear CPR & AED Training Events
We’re proud to be teaming up with Rossendale Leisure Trust to deliver a series of engaging, hands-on No Fear CPR/AED sessions across the summer of 2026 — and you’re invited.

Whether you’ve never had any training before or it’s been a while since your last course, these sessions are designed for you. Guidance and best practice around resuscitation evolve regularly, so even if you’ve trained recently, this is the perfect opportunity to refresh your knowledge, get hands on and build real confidence.
Your instructors are Rossendale Community First Responders — volunteers with real, first-hand experience of emergency situations — offering a unique opportunity to learn not from a textbook, but from people who have truly been there and done it.
During the session, we’ll take you step by step through everything you need to know, including:
- Understanding the crucial difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest
- Recognising the early signs of cardiac arrest
- How to safely assess a patient
- What to do before starting CPR
- Clear, practical instruction on performing effective CPR
- Getting hands-on with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) — where to find one and how to use it safely and confidently
Our goal is simple: remove the fear, build your confidence, and empower you to act when it matters most.
Who can attend?
Everyone. All ages are welcome — and it’s completely free.
