Ambulance Training Evening @ Waterfoot

This evening was an exciting one for the team as we were fortunate enough to have Stuart, who is a Rossendale CFR working as an NWAS EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), bring a spare ambulance over to show the rest of the team where to find different bits of kit and answer any questions we had.

Stuart demonstrated how the crew would typically recieve a job once they’re signed on, showing us different screens on the tablet (for e-Patient Record Forms), the main MDT in the cab, and the encrypted airwave radios (which must be locked away after each shift).
