Christmas 2025 & New Year 2026

We’d like to wish the people of Rossendale, our colleagues at NWAS, in the wider NHS and everyone across the North West – a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year!!

We all know that winter and the festive period can be a strain on the NHS in general. And it can be a very busy period for the Ambulance Service and Hospitals.

Thats why throughout the festive period we will be here supporting the people of Rossendale and the Ambulance Service when we’re needed.

Rest assured when we are available our volunteers will be on call to answer medical emergencies throughout the valley, this Christmas and New Year.

We would like to thank all those who have supported us this year either by donating to us financially or through other support.

We’d also like to thank the hundreds of people who have attended one of our No Fear CPR/AED training sessions we’ve ran throughout the year. In fact the count is in, and we’ve trained 999 people in life saving skills during 2025!! Not quite 1000, but its more of a fitting number for us!!

We’ll be back in 2026 with more sessions to train more people in immediate lifesaving techniques.

We also have to say a big thank our digital partner, who provide sponsorship for our website. We don’t say it often enough, but big thanks to Rossendale based Netweaver who host and provide everything we need for our home on the web. We really appreciate it!

….And finally but not least, we’d like to thank our brilliant volunteers who have been actively on call in 2025, or otherwise supported the team this year – you ARE genuinely amazing!!

Have a safe, peaceful and happy festive period.
