Our mission to make Rossendale a safer place continues to gather momentum. With the recent installation of a new CPAD (Community Public Access Defibrillator) in Edenfield — bringing the total to 89 — we’re thrilled to announce the addition of two more devices in the valley.
The Woolpack Pub in Haslingden now proudly hosts defibrillator number 90, followed closely by Goodshaw Baptist Church, home to number 91. These vital additions mean even more people in our community have faster access to lifesaving equipment should an emergency strike.

Every defibrillator in the valley stands ready for deployment, giving bystanders the ability to act quickly and effectively during a cardiac arrest. With each new location, we strengthen our safety net, ensuring help is never too far away.
Together, we’re building a community where more lives can be saved — and every new CPAD is another step towards that goal.
