No Fear CPR Training Brings Lifesaving Skills (and Smiles) to Edenfield

On a gloriously sunny evening on 29th July, the Rossendale First Responders headed to Edenfield Community Centre for one of our much-loved No Fear CPR/AED training sessions. With a full crew in tow— Kelvin, David, Dawn, Stuart, Kath, and Paulene—we were ready to deliver an energetic and hands-on evening. Of course, we were also joined by our ever-silent but ever-patient training companions: the Little Annie CPR dolls!

The turnout was fantastic, and the room quickly filled with enthusiasm and curiosity. David took the lead on CPR, Kelvin demystified the AEDs, and Dawn gave an engaging overview of Rossendale’s Community Defibs and CPADs. Everyone got involved during the breakout sessions, practicing CPR and defibrillation in smaller groups—and there were plenty of great questions along the way.

A big thank you goes to everyone at Edenfield Community Centre for their warm welcome, open minds, and willingness to dive in. It’s always a pleasure to share these vital skills with our local communities—and to have a few laughs while doing it!
