Important notice: Discontinuation of pads and battery charger for LIFEPAK CR Plus and LIFEPAK
EXPRESS defibrillators
Stryker the manufacturer of the LIFEPAK CR Plus units, have announced that the units consumables are to be discontinued in February 2026.
This is due to ongoing and unforeseen challenges related to component availability and supply chain limitations, as such they will be discontinuing the QUIK-PAK electrodes and CHARGEPAK battery charger.
They will continue supporting warranty claims through the warranty time period of 90 days for the QUIKPAKTM electrodes and CHARGE PAKTM battery charger.
This will mean that once current QUIKPAKTM electrodes and CHARGE PAKTM battery charger expire or are used in a medical emergency obtaining these consumables will become expensive or ultimately difficult to source.
If your premises hold a LIFEPAK CR Plus AED, please consider your upgrade options before the expiry date of the consumables to ensure your operation maintains a lifesaving capability.
